Obituary

MRS. ANNIE J. THOMPSON Mrs. Annie Thompson of South Regis Road Saukville WI passed away in the early morning hours on Friday September 22 2006 at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. She was 66 years old. Annie was born in Boothbay Maine on March 18 1940 daughter of Everard and Myrtle Cole Spinney. She was united in marriage with Douglas Thompson at the Presbyterian church in Boothbay Harbor ME on September 10 1960. Mr. Thompson was in the United States Navy and Annie became a wonderful Navy wife. They spent time in many different duty stations throughout the nation but home was always in Boothbay. They moved to Port Washington WI in 1997 and later to Saukville in 2001. Mrs. Thompson had been very involved with the Boy and Girl Scout programs in many different states and had helped out with the Little League teams that her husband coached. She was an avid reader and liked to crochet and knit however her main enjoyment came from taking great care of her family. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband Douglas of Saukville WI and their two children: Michael (Karen) Thompson of Rockland ME and Vickie (Scott) Prucha of Waukesha WI. She is further survived by two grandchildren her step-mother Bernice Spinney of Boothbay ME two sisters: Rita Treall of Chelsey MA and Marjorie Marr of Boothbay Harbor ME a sister-in-law Karole Spinney of Kansas City MO nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Everard Sonny Spinney.
