Annette R. Gilbertson passed away on December 11, 2023, at Harbor Campus, surrounded by her loving family. She was 87 years old.

Annette was born July 3, 1936, in Milwaukee to the late Jack and Isabel (Blum) Labby.

On August 22,1953 she married the love of her life Kenneth James Gilbertson at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The couple settled in Milwaukee to start their family. In 1968 they moved to Port Washington. They spent over 60 years together. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2014.

She was an active member of St. Peters in Port Washington and found solace and community within its walls. She took immense pleasure in participating in church activities and strengthening her spiritual foundation.

One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. Creating special memories to last a lifetime.

She will be greatly missed by her children Michael (Patti) Gilbertson, Kenneth (Laura) Gilbertson, John (Julie) Gilbertson and Julie (Jeremiah) North; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter Linda, her grandson John Jr, and her sister Marilyn (John) Burke.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 4:00 PM at St. John XXIII-St. Peter of Alcantara Church, 1800 Wisconsin Street, Port Washington; the family will greet visitors at the CHURCH from 2:00 PM until the service begins at 4:00 PM. Inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery will take place at a later date.
