Mrs. Anne La Malfa of Port Washington passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon March 6 2013 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington where she resided for the last 8 years. She was 90 years old. Anne was born in Milwaukee on January 24 1923 daughter of John Jack and Margaret Catalano D'Amore. She was united in marriage with Frank La Malfa at St. John's Cathedral in Milwaukee in September of 1950. The couple moved to Port Washington in 1977. Mrs. La Malfa was a member of St. Mary's parish in Port Washington and enjoyed painting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two children: Frank (Paula) La Malfa of Port Washington and Virginia Simmons of Portales NM. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren 1 brother Michael (Nicole) D'Amore of West Lake Village CA sister-in-law Arlene D'Amore of Menifee CA other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and 1 brother John D'Amore. Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Wednesday March 20th at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski will preside. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Wood National Cemetery Milwaukee. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-7PM.
