Obituary

Mrs. Annabelle Zuelsdorf, of Port Washington, formerly of Belgium, passed away surrounded by her loving family in the early morning hours of Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. She was 87 years old. Annabelle was born in West Bend on July 19, 1931, daughter of William Mueller and Rose Harns Mueller. On June 26, 1954 she married Melvin "Mike" Zuelsdorf at Holy Trinity Church in Newburg. He preceded her in death in 2002. For many years, Annabelle was an active member of St. Mary Parish in Lake Church (now Divine Savior Parish). She was a member of the Christian Women and the Altar Society. Annabelle was also a founding member of the Belgium American Legion Auxiliary. Most importantly, Annabelle loved her family and enjoyed every moment she had with them. She is survived by her four children: Kristine (Larry) Simmelink of Cedar Grove, Steven (Monica) Zuelsdorf of Belgium, Daniel (Kolleen) Zuelsdorf of Buckeye, AZ, and Patrick (Kim) Zuelsdorf of Fredonia. She is further survived by seven grandchildren: Jim, Brittany, Brett, & Paul Simmelink, Justin (Justine) Zuelsdorf, Eric (special friend Teah) Zuelsdorf, and Randy (Sara) Zuelsdorf, three great-grandchildren: Brayden, Riley, And Kinsley Zuelsdorf, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Mike, and her son Douglas. Funeral services will be celebrated at 6:00PM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave. in Belgium. Deacon Gerald Malueg will preside over the service. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Mary Parish Cemetery, Lake Church. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home in Belgium on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 3:00PM until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Belgium Fire Department. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Belgium, is honored to serve the family.
