Anna Krier Mrs. Anna Krier age 93 years of Belgium passed away Thursday November 24 2011 at Harbor Club in Port Washington where she had been a resident for the past several weeks. She was born August 17 1918 in Belgium daughter of John B. and Catherine Mueller Watry. On January 12 1946 she married Norman Krier at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. He preceded her in death in 1996. Mrs. Krier was a member of St. Mary Lake Church and enjoyed gardening and quilting. She was a member of the Luxemburg American Cultural Society and Belgium Senior Citizens. She served on the Village of Belgium Tree Board and as a volunteer election poll worker. Mrs. Krier was the last surviving Village of Belgium resident who was born and lived her entire life in the Village. She is survived by her son Alan (Judy) of Fredonia and daughter Diane (Roger) Turczynski of Cudahy five grandchildren two great grandchildren and two sisters in law Marian Merrill of Port Washington and Emily Krier of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her husband son Robert four sisters and four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 29 2 PM at St. Mary Church Lake Church with Father Richard Fleischman and Father James Ernster officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation at the CHURCH Tuesday from noon until 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Mary Lake Church or a charity of choice appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
