Ann Marie Miller passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. She was 82 years old. Ann was born on September 1, 1939, in Hartford, Wisconsin to parents Robert and Isabelle Held. She attended Slinger High School and graduated in 1957. Ann then graduated from UW-Steven's Point in 1961 with a Bachelor Degree in Education. She taught home economics in Horicon, WI. After being a homemaker, she worked for Guy & O'Neill for 20 years as a supervisor. Ann was united in marriage to Ludwig Miller on July 11, 1964, and together they had five children.
Ann enjoyed cooking and baking and shared her love of these activities with her grandchildren. In the summer you could find her in the garden or in her flower beds. Favorite past times were watching sporting events and performances. Her favorite athletes and performers were her children and grandchildren. Ann's love for her faith kept her involved in the church choir, Human Concerns Committee, various other committees at church, Schoenstatt organizations, and the local food pantries.
Ann is survived by her husband Ludwig Miller, children Mary Ellen (Robert) Bebermeyer, Tom (Rose) Miller, Tim (Pattie) Miller, Anthony (Shannon) Miller, grandchildren Patrick (Gabrielle), Erin, Claire, Kate and John Bebermeyer, Owen (girlfriend Kiley), Loren, Noah, Mallory, Matt, Natalie, Madelyn and George Miller, siblings Irene (Robert) Wolf, Sister Paulanne Held, Robert (Audrey) Held, Michael (Barrie) Held, Paul (Sandy) Held, Jeanette Held (late Chip Goehring), Marianne (Eugene) Dietenberger, and Charles (Denise) Held. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Karen Miller, infant granddaughter Mae Miller, sister-in-law Diann Miller, and brother-in-law Chip Goehring.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 5:00 PM at Divine Savior Parish Holy Cross Chapel 5330 County Road B Belgium, WI 53004. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 PM until the time of Mass at 5:00 PM. A private family interment will take place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Divine Savior Parish, Schoenstatt Center or the charity of your choice. A special thank you to the medical staff at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's.
