Ann Buonaccorsi, 68, of Grafton passed away on September 22, 2018 after a courageous battle with vascular disease. She is survived by husband of 48 years, Richard; children Andrew (Amy) and Karen (Craig); and grandchildren Griffin and Harper, as well as brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Jane Perry.
Ann grew up in Providence, RI and graduated from Our Lady of Fatima Nursing School. She served as a nurse for 25 years, which was reflective of her life's passion for helping others.
Ann and Rich moved to several states with his job transfers. They lived in Cedarburg for 9 years before being transferred to Louisville. She was thrilled at the opportunity to move back to Wisconsin several years ago and reconnect with many friends, as this was the place she always considered as home.
Ann's life was one of simple pleasures with the highlight being spending time with grandchildren and family. She loved to cook, watch sports, go out to Friday Fish Fry, and shop with her daughter and girlfriends. Ann's smile was one that lit up the room and will be remembered by many that experienced her love and kindness.
The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Avenue in Cedarburg on Thursday, October 4th from 1PM until 3:30PM, followed by services at 3:30 PM. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to a children's charity of the donor's choice.
