Anita N. Wehrle of Shawano formerly of Port Washington and Milwaukee entered eternal life on Friday July 18 2014 at her residence at The Cottages on Golden Pond Assisted Living in Shawano. She was 97 years old. Anita was born in Milwaukee on February 23 1917 daughter of William Hoppe and Ida Dallmann Hoppe. She attended and graduated from Girls' Trades and Technical High School in Milwaukee in 1935. On February 24 1939 she married Stanley Rozic in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1946. On November 12 1952 she married Arthur Wehrle in Waukegan IL. He preceded her in death in 1976. Anita made her home in Port Washington until her move to Shawano in 2009 to be closer to her daughter. She loved her apartment and being able to sit on her patio overlooking the pond watching the wildlife. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington and also received spiritual guidance from Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Suring. Anita enjoyed dancing sewing card club bowling and shopping. She is survived by her three children: Richard (Gela) Rozic of Sarasota FL William (Polly) Wehrle of Holt MI and Tina (Dave) Nieling of Suring WI. Anita is further survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren: Richard (Kendra) Rozic Jr. of Houston TX and their children Benjamin Jacob and Eden Suzanne (Randy) Sitz of Westerville OH and their children Amber Ashleigh Andrew and Austin Jim Zuehlke of Green Bay and his children Jermene and Landon Jennifer (Justin) Kangas of Baxter MN and their children Ellisyn and Brennan and Nathan and Leanna Wehrle of Holt MI her brother Don Hoppe of Athelstane nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her two husbands Stanley and Arthur and her brother Mel Hoppe. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 24th at 2 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington with Rev. Michael Paholke of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church presiding. She will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery Milwaukee. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday July 24th from 11 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials to a charity of donor's choice suggested.
