Alyce Ann Appleman age 58 years of Port Washington beloved daughter of Verne and Jeanne Appleman passed away at home on July 15 after a 4-year battle with colon cancer. Alyce graduated from Port Washington High School in 1968 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Alyce treasured her relationship with her nephews Brad and Conner Hayes and her niece Abbey Hayes. When once asked what she liked most about giving tours she smiled and said ldquo; The visitors especially the children.rdquo; Exceptionally skilled and creative in several arts including origami and crocheting Alyce was always thrilled to find and teach interested students. She was a proud member of the Senior Centerrsquo;s ldquo;Chicks with Sticksrdquo; class.
