Mr. Alois Fechter III passed away at his home in the Town of Belgium Tuesday evening, July 8, 2025, while surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old.
Alois was born in Port Washington on July 20, 1953, son of Alois and Frances "Frankie" (nee Kiehnau) Fechter. He grew up in the Town of Saukville on the family farm and attended local schools. Ollie graduated from Ozaukee High School, Class of 1971.
On February 21, 1976, Ollie was united in marriage with Pamela Clark. The couple settled in Port Washington and began their family of three children.
Mr. Fechter was employed at Cedarburg Dairy as a truck driver and retired in 2008.
Ollie enjoyed being out in nature, hunting, and spending time at the family property in Carter, WI. He had many wonderful dogs throughout his life, most notably Sisko, who kept him company and loved romping the woods with him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Pam, their children Brian (Lynda) Fechter, Carrie (Lenny) Siesco, and Joseph (Stacie) Fechter, and six grandchildren: Madelynne Fechter, Carly and Erica Siesco, Taylor, Jackson, and Payton Fechter. He is further survived by his mother Frankie, sisters Judy Mondloch, Sandy (Scott) Tutas, and Bonnie (Dale) Gray, brothers- and sisters-in-law: Kathy (Dennis) Augustin, Roseann DeBano, Kris Jones, Al (Karen) Clark, Joyce Herkowski, Joan Clark, Julie (Mike) Crowley, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Al is preceded in death by his father Alois, infant brother Joseph, parents-in-law Carl and Dorothy (nee Schmit) Clark, and brothers-in-laws Don Mondloch, Robert DeBano, Don Jones, Ron Herkowski, and Jim Mahl.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., in Belgium. Deacon Mike Koebel will preside the service. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Saturday, July 19th from 11AM until services at 1PM.
