Mr. Allen R. Knepprath of Sun Lakes, Arizona, died June 10, 2025.

He was born December 1, 1928, in Cedarburg, son of the late Ulrich and Augusta Brandt Knepprath. Allen was a graduate of Cedarburg High School.

On December 2, 1950, Allen was united in marriage with LaVerne Grasse at St. Paul's Community Church in Waubeka, Wisconsin. A short time later, Allen and his wife lived in Columbus, Georgia, for two years. There he served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

After serving in the military they returned to live and raise a family in Waubeka, Wisconsin. Allen was a member of the Waubeka Fire Department for many years.

In 1999, Allen and LaVerne moved to Sun Lakes, Arizona. There, Allen volunteered at the Chandler Hospital for five years.

He is survived by his wife LaVerne, daughter Deborah (John) Bohl) and son David (Kathy) Knepprath. He is further survived by three grandchildren: Jennifer, Sarah, and Daniel, three great-grandchildren: Sage, Lilly, and Jack, other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 5PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 25th, from 3PM until services begin at 5PM. Allen will be laid to rest with Military Honors the following morning at Waubeka Union Cemetery.
