Obituary

Allan Probelski, of Port Washington, went to walk with his Lord in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Newcastle Place in Mequon. He was 89 years old but working on his 90th. Allan was born in Milwaukee on September 1, 1931, son of Louis Probelski and Eleanor Marten Probelski. On September 27, 1952 he married Shirley Decker at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. She preceded him in death on September 11, 1989. On December 5, 1992 he married Bonnie Bush at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Port Washington. Allan was a retired Traffic Manager for Freeman Chemical, where he worked for many years. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, and a former member of the National Guard. Al also belonged to the EAA for many years. Allan enjoyed woodworking, building models and brewing beer. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of Port Washington, four children: James (Nancy) of Muskegon, MI, Michael (Elizabeth) of Port Washington, Debra (Matthew) Penkwitz of Port Washington, and Steven (Deb) of Sheboygan Falls. He is further survived by two stepchildren, Dawn (Dave) Wagner of Saukville, and Scott (Jenny) Gast of Cedarburg, his daughter-in-law Jane Probelski of Newburg, 16 loving grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, his brother Carl Probelski and sister JoAnne Bohn both of West Bend, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife, his son Alan, his sister Carol Probelski. In accordance with Allan's wishes, a private prayer service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saukville at a future date. In lieu flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wisconsin Humane Society, Ozaukee Campus. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
