Alice W. Reynolds 88 of Harbor Campus in Port Washington formerly of Grafton and Cedar Grove passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones early on Sunday morning July 26 2009 after a battle with Alzheimerrsquo;s. Alice was born to Raymond and Edith (nee Brown) Willetts on July 25 1921 in Milwaukee. She grew up in Fox Point WI and went on to college at Randolph-Macon Womenrsquo;s College in Lynchburg Virginia to study Social Work. She returned to Wisconsin and began working in Milwaukee. On July 16 1966 she was united in marriage with Harold Reynolds at St. Paulrsquo;s Episcopal Church in Milwaukee. The couple began a family and moved to Grafton in 1978. Mrs. Reynolds was an active member of St. Simon The Fisherman Episcopal Church in Port Washington. She was a member of the Port Washington Womenrsquo;s Club and previously had belonged to the Womenrsquo;s Club of Wisconsin (Milwaukee). She and Harold had participated in the Girl Scouts of America for many years. Alice loved to dance and was involved in theater groups for many years.nbsp; She remained active in dance and theater by being an important part of the Great Pretenders theater group. She enjoyed reading and was involved in book clubs in both Cedar Grove and Port Washington. Alice most enjoyed being with her family and spending time at the familyrsquo;s lake home in Cedar Grove. Being outdoors was her passion and she loved learning about birds plants and trees. She volunteered for many years at Riveredge Nature Center in Newburg. In her later years she felt pure joy when she was surrounded by family and friends. nbsp;For the last six years Alice and her husband Harold have resided at Harbor Campus in Port Washington. Alice is survived by her husband Harold son John (Brooke) Reynolds of Charlotte NC daughter Jennifer (Luke) Lund of Cedar Grove and foster daughter Vicki (Dana) Preslan of South Milwaukee. She is further survived by her grandchildren Hunter Lund Addison Reynolds and Jenny (Preslan) Pires niece Susan (Alan Pritz) Willetts nephew Tom Willetts other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother John Willetts of Fox Point whom she adored and was very close to. A Memorial Service will be held at 6PM on Wednesday August 5 2009 at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Father Julian Hills will officiate. Friends and family can visit from 4-6PM at the funeral home. A private burial will be planned at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Riveredge Nature Center in Newburg WI.
