ALFRED M. BLICK Alfred Blick age 89 years of the Town of Belgium passed away at his residence surrounded by his family the morning of December 30 2002. He was born January 21 1913 in the Town of Belgium son of Nicholas J. and Catherine Reiter Blick. On September 3 1938 he married Elsie Becker at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada. Blicky retired from Bolens in 1978 where he had worked as a truck driver. Alfred was a lifelong member at St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church. He was a charter member of the Belgium Lions Club a 69 year member of the Catholic Order Of Foresters and a member of I Aof M 1430. Mr. Blick is survived by his children Janet (Ralph) Petesch of Glendale Joanne (Rod) Schueller of Port Washington Betty (Ray) Mantsch of Clinton IA and James (Sue) Blick of Port Washington. He is further survived by 6 grandchildren 24 greatgrandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Elsie 1 grandson Brian 2 sisters Adeline Krier and Lucille Arendt. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 2 2003 10 AM from the Funeral Home going to St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Father James Vojtik and Father James Ernster will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. (Hwy LL and Park St.) Belgium Wednesday January 1 from 4-8 PM and again Thursday from 9-10 AM. A Parish Vigil will be held Wed. at 6:30 PM.
