Albert Sudbrink age 89 years of 1937 Lakeshore Roadnbsp; Town of Grafton died early Sunday morning January 18 2009 at Columbia St. Maryrsquo;s Hospital in Mequon.nbsp; He was born March 25 1919 in the Town of Saukville son of Theodore and Maria Lubahn Sudbrink.nbsp; Albert served in the U.S. Army during World War II and married Lucille Dowe on January 6 1945 at St. Johnrsquo;s Church parsonage in Lakefield.nbsp; The couple farmed in the Town of Grafton and Albert also worked at Mercury Marine in Cedarburg for twenty five years.nbsp; He was a member of St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church in Lakefield and Rose Harms American Legion Post in Grafton.nbsp; He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Packers Brewers and Bucks.nbsp; In his younger days he played the concertina and still enjoyed listening to polka music.nbsp; He is survived by his wife Lucille three daughters Judith (Bernard) Schreiner of Glendale Audrey (Kerry) Kanies of Hubertus and Alberta (Fred) Mess of Sussex three grandchildren Jonathan Elizabeth and Katherine one great granddaughter Arlee Noel his brother Milton (Myrtle) Sudbrink of Sussex and three sisters LaVerne Groth of Cedarburg Dolores (Bruno) Lorenz of Grafton and Irene (Robert) Jordan of Hot Springs AK.nbsp; He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.nbsp; Funeral services Saturday January 24 3 PM at St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church 1193 Lakefield Road Grafton.nbsp; In state at the CHURCH Saturday from 1-3 PM.nbsp; In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church appreciated.nbsp; The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. br /Service:br /pFuneral servicenbsp;will be on Saturday January 24th at 3 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church Lakefield./p
