Aileen M. (Donlan) Starr, a cherished resident of Cedar Grove, WI, passed away peacefully at the age of 60 on March 25, 2025. Born in Boston, MA on May 26, 1964, Aileen was a radiant soul who brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. She was the beloved daughter of Francis and Evelyn (Bemis) Donlan, and a devoted wife to her husband, Jeffrey Starr, with whom she shared a profound and boundless love.
Aileen was a proud graduate of Simmon's College in Boston during the 80's. She worked in public television before moving to Wisconsin in 1991, where she lived for 16 years and started her family. Aileen furthered her career as a recruiter for the Medical College of Wisconsin. There she recruited many talented doctors to the area. She finished her career and life in Cedar Grove, where she was not only a dedicated teller to her community, but also a compassionate friend. Always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand, whether asked or not (smile).
Aileen was a radiant soul who brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met. She was a treasured member of the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove, where her passion for teaching shone brightly. The children in her bible study program affectionately referred to her as "Miss Aileen," a testament to the deep connections she fostered within her community.
Aileen's memory will be cherished by her husband Jeff, her daughters Emma Aly (Arthur) Pinkos of Port Washington, WI and Nora Evelyn Fiorita of Nashville, TN; stepson Jacob (Nicole) Starr of Elwood City, PA; grandchildren Patrick Grant Pinkos; step-grandchildren Jacob, Gabriel, and Callie Starr; brother Michael (Bonnie) Donlan of Lady Lake, FL. Aileen is further survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at First Reformed Church, 237 S. Main St., Cedar Grove, WI 53013. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church from 12:00-2:00pm.
Aileen will be loved and cherished by all, and will be remembered as a bright light, dear wife, beloved mother, and friend; may she rest in the love of our Lord's arms.
Memorials are appreciated to the family.
