Agnes Margaret Theisen, age 79, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away on March 13, 2024, at Morningstar of Arvada.

She was born on April 23, 1944, in Budapest, Hungary, to Bela and Yolande (Antal) Kish.

Agnes moved with her family to Wisconsin in 1956. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School with the class of 1963. After high school, she attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. On August 14, 1965, Agnes married Robert M. Theisen at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Springfield, Ohio, and the couple had two children together. Agnes attended and worked at Holy Family Catholic Community of Inverness, Illinois as an event planner.

She enjoyed time with family and friends.

Agnes is survived by her two children Christopher (Mira) of Arvada, Colorado, and Sean Theisen (Alexandra) of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Loving grandmother of Annalise, Steven, Kaira, Andrew, and Ian. She is further survived by two sisters Angela Kiss of Allen, Texas, and Lily (Rick) Rowe of Springfield, Ohio, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Theisen, her parents Bela & Yolande Kish, her nephew Michael Kish, and her brother George Kish.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11 AM at Divine Savior - Holy Cross Chapel, 5330 County Highway B, Belgium.  A visitation for family and friends will take place at the Church from 10-11 AM.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary Parish Cemetery in Lake Church.
