IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Adrian C.
Buntrock
July 9, 1973 – October 18, 2025
Mr. Adrian Buntrock of Newburg, formerly of Fredonia, passed away following a valiant battle with brain cancer on October 18, 2025. He was 52 years old.
Adrian was born in Milwaukee on July 9, 1973, the son of Gary and Heidi (Frommelt) Buntrock. The family lived in Fredonia and Adrian attended local schools, including Ozaukee High School where he participated in soccer and golf. He graduated in 1991.
On May 3, 1999, Adrian was united in marriage with Amy Scarpaci in Tampa, Florida. The couple settled in West Bend before moving to Newburg in 2002. Adrian worked for the City of Cedarburg in the Public Works Department. He began in 1997 and continued until his health no longer allowed.
Mr. Buntrock was an active member at St. John's Lutheran Church in West Bend, where he enjoyed the fellowship of Bible Study, Discipleship Hour, Golf League, and Usher Team. Adrian actively lived his faith, making him an amazing husband and wonderful father. It also helped him endure the trials of his diagnosis. Sharing his beliefs was very important to him, and inspiring to others.
Adrian had a passion for golf, classic cars, running, competing in half-marathons, and attending concerts -preferably 80's rock, but also country. He loved spending time with his family and friends, often showing his love through grilling. The company of his canine companions Libby and Maverick (and the late Lucy), brought him great joy. Adrian was an enthusiastic guitar player who loved playing and recording. His constant smile and positive attitude always spread around the room.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Amy, their daughter Lexi (Austin) Haag of Mayville, parents Gary and Heidi Buntrock of Rhinelander, sister Ingrid (Matt) Schmit of Cedarburg, brother Nik Buntrock of Port Washington, and father-in-law Jim (the late Linda) Scarpaci of Port Washington. He is also survived by brothers-and-sisters-in-law Jim (Danielle) Scarpaci, Angie (John) Weinrich, Bob (Stacie) Scarpaci, Frank (Kristen) Scarpaci, David Scarpaci and Abby Scarpaci. Adrian is further survived by his aunt Deb (Jim) Yahr, uncle Jay (Linda) Buntrock, numerous nieces and nephews, other family, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, October 24th, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Ave. in West Bend. Pastor Jeff Hesse will preside the service. The family will receive guests at the church on Friday from 9:30AM until 11:15AM.
Adrian will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saukville, later that day.
Memorials will be donated in Adrian's name to St. John's Lutheran Church and brain cancer research.
The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements; online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com .
