Obituary for Suzanne H. Gorman

Sue Gorman, of Port Washington, passed away in the evening hours of Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Heritage Health Services. She was 84 years old. Sue was born in Port Washington, daughter of Walter Rismeyer and Gladys Mueller Rismeyer. She attended school in Port Washington, graduating with the class of 1952. On July 9, 1966, she married James “Jim” Gorman at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. He preceded her in death in September of 2012. Sue enjoyed traveling with her husband and loved to read. She is survived by her nephews, John (Julie) Sperling and Brian (Ana) Sperling and their children Vanessa, Scott and Henry, her special friend Connie Johnson, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, and her sister Mary “Ginny” Sperling. A service celebrating Sue’s life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, Port Washington. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
