Ronald A. LucasMr. Ron Lucas of Judge Dr. in Saukville passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday morning January 24 2011. He was 66 years old. Ron was born September 1 1944 in Milwaukee the son of John H. Lucas II and Marguerite Butscher. He graduated from Pius High School in 1962 and from MIT School of Photography in 1965.He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966-1969. Ron owned a professional photo lab Pro-Lab in Milwaukee for 20 years before joining Johnson School Bus in Port Washington as a bus driver in 2000.nbsp; Ron was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville where he was active in the choir and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was a member of the Landt-Thiel American Legion Saukville Post #470 and the American Legion Riders. Ron was an avid Green Bay Packer fan who enjoyed woodworking clock repairs riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. He is survived by 3 children: Brian (Rhonda) of Elkhorn and their children Ella and Coltrane Dawn Lucas of Milwaukee and Brenda Lucas of Saukville. He is further survived by his mother Marguerite Lucas of Milwaukee brother Terry (Betty) Lucas of Waukesha sister-in-law Kathy Lucas of Milwaukee nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father John H. Lucas II and brother John H. Lucas III. A Memorial Mass will be held at 5PM on Thursday January 27 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 145 W. Church St. in Saukville followed by full military honors. Father Karl Acker and Father Patrick Wendt will concelebrate. nbsp;The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 3-5PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
