Robert L. Tolson "Rob"
Robert "Rob" Tolson, of the Town of Port Washington, passed away unexpectedly in the evening hours of Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Froedert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa. He was 57 years old.
Rob was born in Milwaukee on April 21, 1962, son of Robert Tolson and JoyLane (nee Mayo) Tolson Cuellar. Rob was united in marriage to Dawn Haeuser on April 14, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was a Painter Foreman for Milwaukee Painters Local 781. He was currently working for Olympic Painting Co. in Waukesha. Rob enjoyed golfing, playing cards, fishing, hunting, traveling, and attending Brewers, Packers & Bucks games. One of his favorite things to do was attending his grandkids sporting events.
He is survived by his wife Dawn of the Town of Port Washington, children Melissa Tolson of North Augusta, SC, and Robert Tolson Jr. of Baraboo, stepchildren Sarah (Robert) Harness of Fredonia and Kevin (Amanda) Kettenhoven of Plymouth. Rob is further survived by four grandchildren: Noah, Kenedeigh, Parker and Riley, two sisters Jodi Peters of Milwaukee and Jaci (Dr. Paul) DeLakis of Eau Claire, stepfather Manuel Cuellar of Milwaukee, aunts and uncles: Judith (William) Kingsbury of Rhinelander and Richard (Terry) Tolson of West Allis, nieces and nephews: David (Kelli) Peters of Muskego, Heather (Brian) Cwiklinski of Willington, NC, Christina DeLakis of Austin, TX, Alexander DeLakis of Chicago, IL, and Paul DeLakis of Columbus, OH, great-nieces and nephews: Kaylyn, Brianna, Jaxon and Lincoln, mother-in-law Karen (Leo) Trepes of West Bend, father-in-law Eldred (Darlene) Haeuser of Saukville, sisters-in-law Kris (Gary) Laubenstein of Germantown and Diane Lee of Grafton, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Tolson and JoyLane Cuellar, aunt Sandra (the late James) Brower, uncle Thomas Mayo and brother-in-law Eldred "Butch" Haeuser.
A service celebrating Rob's life will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 3 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. A time of gathering will precede the service from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.
