Obituary for Randy Donald Frame

Randy Donald Frame passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children on June 4th. He was 66 years old.
Randy was born on May 17, 1953 in Rockford, Illinois to Don and Doris Frame. He grew up in Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School. He then went on to MSOE where he graduated in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering. Randy went to work at Inryco after he graduated and left there in 1980. He then moved to Port Washington where he started his family and founded Frame Engineering.
Randy loved working on projects and could always think of new designs to make something better or work easier. He had the imagination of a child and the brain of a true genius. Above everything was his huge heart. Randy loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed packing up the car and taking the kids on a spontaneous weekend trip, always reminding them that life is about making memories. Even as the kids became adults, he remained ever-present in their lives and a constant source of advice.
On June 12, 2016, Randy married Denise, the other half of his heart. The two loved their life they had together whether it was packing up the car for a road trip across the country, heading up north, flying to a different side of the world, or just sitting on their deck with friends and their beloved pet Sadie. Randy loved to tell stories and was always looking to add a new story to his life. He was truly the love of her life.
Randy’s lifelong passion was bicycling. Whether he was riding with friends from his bike club or riding for a cause, he loved being on the bike. He also enjoyed woodworking, traveling, taking pictures, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving, selfless, intelligent, and spontaneous individual with a sense of humor that was as big as his personality, and his heart.
In June of 2018, Randy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He made a promise that no matter what, he was going to fight and beat this horrible disease. He never stopped fighting and he never lost hope; always reminding others that he never quits anything. There were times the treatments kept Randy from walking more than a few steps, yet he would use those steps to get himself on the stationary bike where he could ride for miles.
Randy is survived by his wife Denise; children, Daniel (Zoe) of MIlwaukee; Katy Norgel (Chris) of West Bend; Steve of Milwaukee, Patrick “PJ” (Karsen) of Belgium; stepchildren, Johnny and Camrin LaFond, granddaughter Bailey McGavock, brother Dennis Frame (Susan), sister Deb Haag (Gary). Brother-in-laws, Doug Fransee (Casey); Don Fransee (Ginny). He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Doris Frame, and brother Michael who died at birth.
A Memorial Service for Randy will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at First Congregational Church (131 N. Webster St. Port Washington, WI 53074) with Pastor Jeff Suddendorf presiding. Visitation will be at the CHURCH from 9:00AM until the time of service.
The family would like to thank the oncology staff at Froedtert for giving Randy another year to make more memories, tell more stories, and do what he always did best; love his family.
