Mary L. Knezevich age 93 years passed away early Friday June 20 2014 at Harbor Club in Port Washington where she had resided the last 9 years. Mary was born in Painesdale Michigan the daughter of Francesco and Orsolina Bolagna Enrietti. After high school Mary moved to Milwaukee. She worked as a secretary at Square D in Milwaukee where she met her husband Michael. He preceded her in death in 1984. The couple resided in Mequon where Mary was very involved with her community. She belonged to St. James Church (now Lumen Christi) and the Mequon Women's Club and volunteered for numerous causes. She enjoyed her time spent at The Eagle's Club in Milwaukee where she swam and played volleyball with her friends. She enjoyed collecting Depression glass and crocheting. Mary is survived by 2 nephews: Frank (Diane) Chopp of Port Washington and William (Ruth) Chopp of Painesdale Michigan great nieces and nephews and other friends and caregivers. She is preceded in death by her husband Michael and her sister Louise (William) Chopp. Private family services will be held. Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband Michael at Wood National Cemetery. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
