Obituary

Francis X. Wallisch Frank Francis Frank Wallisch of Sunset Rd. Port Washington passed away surrounded by his loving family in the evening hours of Friday December 23 2011 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 88 years old. Frank was born in Chicago on January 11 1923 son of John and Therese Kandlbinder Wallisch. On October 19 1946 he married Marie Keefe Collins in Chicago IL. The couple moved to Wisconsin living in the Port Washington area in 1952. Frank worked as a truck driver for over 40 years for Olson Transportation Company OK Motor Service and Stokdyk Truck Lines. After retiring from driving he worked part-time at the Niederkorn Library. Frank was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington and the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed wood working enjoying time at their cottage in Glidden WI and spending time with his children grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frank is survived by eight children; Marie (Gary) Zirbes of Port Washington Anne Wallisch of New Richmond Carolyn (Rocko) Picciolo of Grafton Jean (Dwight) Horner of Brookfield Frank (Sandy) Wallisch of Hartford Michael (Barbara) Wallisch of West Bend Alan (Valerie) Wallisch of Waupun Chuck (Lisa) Wallisch of Waubeka and daughter-in-law Ann (the late Jack) Wallisch of Brown Deer. He is further survived by 23 grandchildren two step-granddaughters 20 great-grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and many many friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Marie son Jack son-in-law Mike Schreiner grandson Jeffrey Zirbes and 12 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7PM on Thursday December 29th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington with Father Pat Wendt officiating. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation will be held at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington on Thursday December 29th from 3-6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to St. Mary's Parish in Port Washington or the Schools Sisters of Notre Dame.
