Eileen S. Blumenberg Eileen Blumenberg of Port Washington passed peacefully into Eternal Life the early morning hours of Thanksgiving Day Thursday November 22 2012 at Lasata Care Center where she was a resident. She was 86 years old. Eileen was born in Grafton WI on March 28 1926 daughter of Arnold Krueger and Leona Bienlein Krueger. On October 4 1947 she married Russell Blumenberg at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton. Eileen was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington the Christian Women and the American Legion Auxiliary in Saukville. She was an avid gardener and gracious hostess. Eileen also enjoyed music travel and nurturing many lifelong friendships. She is survived by her five children: Sandra (Rick) Schulz of Saukville Karen (Calvin) Racine of Port Washington Renee (Dr. John) Lawrence of West Bend Thomas (Sandra) Blumenberg of Hayward and Paul (Teresa) Blumenberg of Conway AR. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren 12 1/2 great-grandchildren her sister Laverne (Harry) Frank of Cedarburg her sister-in-law Ruth (the late Allen) Krueger of Port Washington brother-in-law Wesley Blumenberg of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband Russell and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday November 26th at 6:30 pm at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington with Father Tom Lijewski officiating. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Mausoleum in Port Washington. Visitation will be held on Monday November 26th from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Funeral Home. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
