Mary Anne Bley

 Mrs. Mary Anne Bley, of West Lane in Belgium, passed away early Monday morning, March 8, 2010 at her home surrounding by her family. She was 73 years old. Mary Anne was born July 19, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Catherine Byrne Parker. On May 12, 1956, she was united in marriage with Gordon Bley at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls. Mary Anne was employed by Allen Edmunds in Belgium for many years. Mrs. Bley was a member of St. Mary Parish in Lake Church, where she had previously been a member of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed bowling, reading, refinishing furniture and spending time with her family. Mary Anne is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gordon “Spike”, and their four children: Tim (Karen) Bley of Plymouth, MI, David Bley of Belgium, Roxanne (Bruce) Ten Haken of Random Lake and Sheila Bley of Belgium. She is further survived by five grandchildren: Damon Friend, Brandon Bley, Amanda Ten Haken, Andrew Ten Haken and Jason Bley; two brothers Richard (Marie) Parker of CA and Paul Parker of IL; two sisters Gerri Schmit of Port Washington and Virginia (John) Surma of IL; two brothers-in-law Frank (Marge) Bley of Janesville and Richard (JoAnne) Bley of Belgium; two sisters-in-law Pat (the late Loren) Bley of Belgium and Sharlene (the late Daniel) Bley of West Bend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her infant son Stephen, granddaughter Krystal Bley, 3 brothers: Edward, Bob and Phil Parker and 3 sisters: Joan Schmidt, Margaret Corry and Catherine Schmidt. A Memorial Mass will be held at 6PM on Friday, March 12, 2010 at St. Mary Parish in Lake Church. Father James Ernster will officiate. Mary Anne will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 4-6PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, Aurora VNA Hospice or Innerfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County. The Eernisse Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Visitation:

The family will receive visitors at St. Mary Parish, Lake Church on Friday, March 12 from 4-6PM.



Service:

A Memorial Mass will be held at 6PM on Friday March 12 at St. Mary Parish in Lake Church.
