Clemi R. Uselding
Clemi Uselding, age 84 years of 425 W. Walters St., formerly of Holy Cross, Town of Belgium, died Thursday evening, March 4, 2010 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon. She was born April 16, 1925 in Holy Cross, daughter of the late Peter and Mathilda Wester Uselding. She was a 1943 graduate of Port Washington High School. On January 1, 1957, she began working in the probate court for Ozaukee County and retired in December of 2001 as Register in Probate. During her career, she worked for Judges Huiras, Larson, and Swietlik. Clemi was a “second mother” to three of her nephews Richard, Al “Junior” and the late Phil Uselding. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her sister in law Elsie Uselding of Port Washington. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Funeral Monday eve. March 8, 7 PM at Holy Rosary Parish, Holy Cross Chapel, Hwy. B, Town of Belgium, with Father James Ernster, a high school classmate of hers officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation at the CHURCH Monday from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Rosary Parish or the American Lung Association appreciated.
