Margaret M. Federspiel

Margaret Federspiel, age 87 years of Port Washington died Friday evening, February 26, 2010 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington.  She was born June 10, 1922 in Port Washington, daughter of John and Oliva Ackermann Federspiel.  Margaret was the bookkeeper for the Federspiel Hardware Store in Port Washington until retiring.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington and enjoyed knitting, sewing, and traveling.  She is survived by her siblings Norbert (Hiltrude) and George (the late Angie) of Port Washington, Wilfred (Brother Conrad, CP) of West Hartford, Connecticut, Carl (Loretta) of Port Washington, and Rita of Cedarburg, her sister in law Mary Federspiel of Port Washington, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents , one brother Joseph, a nephew Richard and sister-in-law Marie Federspiel.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2, 5:30 PM at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington with Father Tom Lijewski officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington.  Visitation at the CHURCH  Tuesday from 4 PM until time of services.  The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
