GARY L. NIEMUTH

Mr. Gary Niemuth, of North 5th Street in Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, January 28, 2010.  He was 51 years old.  Gary was born in Plymouth on February 27, 1958, son of Marvin and Arnette Willms Niemuth.  As a child, he lived in Port Washington before moving to Moweaqua, IL.  In high school, Gary played varsity football.  He continued enjoying the game his entire life. Mr. Niemuth was united in marriage with Mary H. Rhodes on May 27, 1986 in Decatur, IL.  He later moved back to Wisconsin and into the Sheboygan area in 1992.  Gary was an avid Packers fan and also enjoyed bowling.  He loved to go out for a walk and listen to music, especially classic rock.  Gary also enjoyed spending time with his children and family.  Mr. Niemuth is survived by his 3 children: Heather (George) Strissel of Aurora, IL, Anthony and David Niemuth, both of Sheboygan, as well as 2 grandsons, Preston & Haden Strissel of Aurora.  He is also survived by his parents, Marvin (Ruth) Niemuth of Sheboygan and Arnette Niemuth of Moweaqua, his grandmother Marion Niemuth of Sheboygan Falls, 1 sister Sharon (Greg) Powel of Moweaqua and 2 brothers: Terry (Carol) Niemuth and Michael Niemuth, both of Decatur, IL and his former wife Mary Niemuth of Newton.  He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins,  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral Services will be held at 3PM on Sunday, January 31st at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., (Hwy LL & Park St.) Belgium.  At his request, Gary will later be laid to rest in Moweaqua.  The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2PM until services at 3PM.  Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
