Rose Marie Franzen   “Mutz”

Ms. Rose Franzen, formerly of Random Lake, currently a resident of Cedar Grove Gardens II in Cedar Grove, passed away at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital on Saturday morning, January 16, 2010.  She was 78 years old. Rose was born in Random Lake on September 4, 1931, daughter of Henry and Anna Becker Franzen.  She attended school in town and graduated from Random Lake High School.  Ms. Franzen was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Mary Chapel.  For the past number of years, Rose had resided in residential facilities in the Sheboygan area.  She had moved to Cedar Grove Gardens in 2008.  Rose enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, music and many other activities.  She is survived by her cousins, other relatives and friends.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7PM on Tuesday, January 19th, at Our Lady of The Lakes, St. Mary Chapel, 230 Butler Street, Random Lake.  Father Richard Cerpich will officiate.  She will be laid to rest beside her parents in the parish cemetery in Random Lake the following morning.  The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 6-7PM.  Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of The Lakes Parish.
