Ronald M Fromm

Biography

Ronald M. Fromm of Port Washington met the Lord of his life on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the age of 52. Ron was the pride and joy of his parents Laura and Andrew and was born on their sixteenth wedding anniversary. He attended Cedarburg High School, graduating in 1979. In April of 1988, he married the love of his life, Geralyn Thull.
He was most recently employed at Plus Group Financial in Belgium. He enjoyed the company of his coworkers during his years of employment at Franklin Energy in Port Washington and his time at Waymar Medical in Mequon.
His favorite activities were writing mystery plays, geocaching, pistol shooting, and encouraging his daughters--Michelle and Jaimie--at their plays and concerts. His most special God-given talent was to make his friends and family laugh, whether he was making puns, contorting his face, or making up silly songs. His generous heart let him share things both tangible and intangible with those he loved.
Ron was very active at and dedicated to New Season Community Church in Belgium. He helped with the church's multimedia and put in many long hours as treasurer.
Ron is survived by Geri, his wife of 25 years, and their two daughters, Jaimie--a senior at Port Washington High School--and Michelle--a senior at Lakeland College. He is further survived by his aunt, Helen Kannenberg of Cedarburg; mother-in-law, Marylin Thull of West Bend; siblings-in-law, Sue and Ralph Deppiesse of Random Lake, Craig and Lois Thull Campbellsport, Vicky Thull of Charlotte, NC, Gale Thull and Don Guzan of Spring Grove, IL, Janine Thull and Jeff Richter of Menomonie, WI, Gary and Doreen Thull of Howard, PA, Kevin and Lynn Thull of Kewaskum, and Adrianne and Ron Theusch of Alden, MN; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his aunt and uncle, Lucille and John Fromm; his godfather and uncle, Martin Fromm; his father-in-law, Norbert Thull; and his brothers-in-law, Alan Thull and Leon Thull.
A service celebrating the life of Ron will be held on Friday, October 4th at 7 p.m., at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Pastor Kevin McMillan of New Season Community Church will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Port Washington. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday October 4th from 3-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorials to Ozaukee Christian School (341 S. Dries St., Saukville) or the Christian and Missionary Alliance Great Commission Fund (http://secure.cmalliance.org/give).
The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to serve the family. Online condolences and directions may be found at www.eernissefuneralhome.com

My thoughts and prayer go to Ron family and friends. I knew him in Jaycees in Cedarburg. He all was ready to making people smile. Great at scary people at the Haunted House in Cedarburg.

My Jesus, Ron is with you now and what better knowledge could there be. Ron was everything to my sis and I for so long. He was always there for us and accepted us for who we were. I'll never forget those years in the Jaycees. The memories flow deep, from the treasure hunts to the haunted houses to the murder mystery dinners. He touched our lives like no other. While our friendship was not as close in these last years, I will never forget you Ron. Thank you for being you! I know you are watching us up in Heaven now and someday I will see you again. Until then, I will smile every time I think of you. Godspeed Ron.

Ron, I remember the eager young Ron joining the Cedarburg Jaycees and life was never quite the same for him.. His talents skills, eagerness and laughter was enjoyed by the members as we did projects to help the community grow. I smile as his dad and mom were so proud of him as Ron would be Ron and Mr Fromm would be Mr Fromm . You will never find a person with a bigger heart or kinder demeaner. He brought smiles to many and laughter too with his kindness and selfless giving. the world is missing a good person . I am honored to have had the chance to be a friend close and distant for many years.

Every summer our family heads up north to Lake Lungren Family Bible Camp. Over the years we grew to love Ron, who also attended camp with his family. For the last two years Ron oversaw the camp talent night. What fun! What laughs! Ron's heart for God was also evident. This year bumped into each other on a path and he told me I needed to see a spot in the woods he discovered with a bunch of hammocks. As we lounged under the August afternoon, he spoke of his church and saw his love for that group of Believers and his Lord. Ron, we are all going to miss you. Until that day... Geri, our prayers are with you and the girls. Ian & the Bultman family

I will certainly miss Uncle Ron's wit and clever humor that I have grown to appreciate even more in my young adult years. He brought so much energy and genuine fun to family gatherings. I admired his dedication to his family and his faith, which were evident in everything he did. I believe his legacy will live on in each of the lives he touched during his short time here on earth.

Ron was a very funny guy! When I was little, I never understood any of his puns, but always remember hearing about improvisational comedy troupes he had seen. I always loved talking to him because he could make any subject hilarious! When I had brought my girlfriend Allyson to the family Christmas party for the first time, there was Ron to crack jokes and talk to her! He made us laugh every time we saw him. I didn't know much about his professional life, that being said, I believe his greatest accomplishments in life are his two amazing daughters Jamie and Michelle. Within these two, I see Ron's intelligence, humor, and love. I know Ron is in heaven, and I know he's making Jesus laugh.
