Grandpa you are trully a great man and you have touch my life and the others that were lucky enough to have know you. I have many fond memories of the time we sent together. I remember playing golf with you and grandma with a plastic driver and plastic golf ball at squires golf course(wow that was along time ago). The days of having family over at the farmhouse driving the golf cart and chasing ripper the dog around with Corey,Rene and my sister Chris. The lessons of hard work out in the fields picking up stones! The endless days of you pulling me around Random Lake on water skies. The countless hours of playing sheepshead around the table at the lakehouse. Thankyou for all the time you spent with me and turning me into the man I am today. May you rest in peace.

My Dearest Grandpa, I hope you know what an influential person you have been in my life. It is you and Grandma that have shaped me into the Catholic I am today. Some of my fondest memories are of going to Guitar Mass at St. Peter's with you and Grandma. I know that Amanda was born healthy and so beautiful because of all of the praying you and Grandma did when I was very sick and pregnant with her. I am forever grateful. You had a wonderful way of balancing hard work with fun. Although I do (vaguely) remember plenty of summers picking stones from the fields, they are overshadowed by memories of all of the fun things we did together. Who could forget you showing Paul and I how to water ski on Random Lake. Oh, those mouthfuls of lake water I got when trying to get up on skis! I think I spent more time with my face being dragged on the Lake than my feet! And, I will never forget the cook outs we had at Lake Ellen. And, of course, I must mention all of the fun Paul, Renee, Corey, and I had racing around the farm on the golf cart you purchased. Thank goodness for the gas pump you had on the farm because we drove that golf cart from sun up to sun down and you always kept it running. Grandpa, I know that you earned a seat next to the Lord. I pray that my children follow in your footsteps of strong faith, hard work, and the spirit to make the world a better place. I love you Grandpa and I will miss you. Until we meet again... Love, Christine
