It was my great pleasure to help take care of Gen while she lived at Harbor Campus. She was a very classey lady. I will always remember your smile. Until we meet again. Love Christine

Aunt Gen was a very special person and always kind to me. I have many memories of family gatherings at holidays when little. And, it was always fun to visit the Pewaukee house and fields behind. For our wedding, she used her milinary skills to make a beautiful veil, and when our daughter Tiffany was born, her crib was adorned with a beautiful blanket. Remember her apartment in Manitowac and how she cared for Uncle Orrin. Then it was special to see her again with my grandmother in Port Washington. She was always so proud of her sons and daughter, and then her grandchildren. All of you took such wonderful care of her through the years. Now she is at peace.

Aunt Gen has blessed me with many happy memories; from the time I was her flower girl to our many holidays together in Batavia, spanning many years from visits in Boltonville, Oconto, Thiensville, Pewaukee and Manitowac. I remember wearing her beautiful feather, fur and floral hats she made when she was a milliner. I am still using her hot pads and towels that she sewed. And, she loved quilting for her family. In the late 1970s, Aunt Gen was a floral artist at Stonewood Village while Uncle Orrin was a FTD bookkeeper. They were wonderful helpers. In more recent years, my mother Alice joined Gen in Port Washington. My mother was moved into the same section as Aunt Gen and the two would hold hands while watching Television. She would have been very pleased that her children prepared a memorable memorial service in Decada on Saturday. The songs selected and poem composed were all very special. Thank you for the memories, Aunt Gen. Yvonne Locker

One of my favorite memories of Aunt Gen was when my sister Sandy and I slept over at her house in Pewaukee. Gen told us we could make cookies by ourselves. So we mixed them up but something was wrong. Gen figured out we had too much sugar. She didn't get upset and somehow she managed to fix our mixup and they were really good cookies.
