My condolences to the family. It has been many years that I last saw Lawrence walking in the Newburg firemen's picnic parade. Living in Colorado I only get to Wisconsin once a year. It was sad to hear of his passing.
I would never have learned how to ride my tricycle or bicycle if it wasn't for my neighbor growing up. He also helped me find "diamond stones" - sparkly ones during my afternoon adventures. Say hi to my mom Lawrency!
I remember going to the ball diamond in the morning to help him collect empty soda cans. He was also very dedicated to the fire dept and he will be missed.
