Obituary for Edward J. Weber

Mr. Ed Weber, of Cedar Sauk Road in the Town of Cedarburg, passed away at his home Sunday, June 4th, 2017, at the age of 62. Edward was born in Milwaukee on May 30, 1955, son of Edward O. and Lorraine Price Weber. He grew up in Glendale and attended local schools, graduating from Nicolet High School with the Class of 1973. He worked through his apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating, completing his schooling at MATC and worked beside his grandfather and father at Ed Weber Painting, Inc. On November 15, 1980 Ed was united in marriage with Sandra Dorow at Fox Point Lutheran Church. The couple settled on the northwest side of Milwaukee and started their family. They moved to the Town of Cedarburg in 1988. Ed took over the family business in 2001 and continued the quality professional services offered, painting as a union shop.
Mr. Weber was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting (bow and gun), spending time up north, camping and taking care of his yard. In his youth he played softball, and spent many hours coaching his children’s teams in Soccer, T-ball and even scouting. Ed loved watching sports with his brother and sons. He regularly enjoyed going out for a Friday fish fry at local establishments. The highlight of his life in recent years were his grandchildren; there weren’t enough hours in the day to play with and spoil them.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandi, and their three children: Josh (Mara) Weber of Mequon, Kristen (fiancé Joe Behrendt) Burczyk of Menomonee Falls and Matt (Liz Beyer) Weber of Milwaukee. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren: Dakota, Nolan, Colton, Mason, Liam, Owen, Hudson, Raiden and Odin, brother Mark (Rita) Weber of Germantown, close friends Mike & Debbie Butler of Franksville, and Sharon (the late Mike Dedert) of the Town of Wayne. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Ed is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Lorraine Weber.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4PM on Friday, June 9th, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Friday from 1-4PM.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
